Website Terms of Use
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These terms cover your use of workflowunity.io and the public pages of app.workflowunity.io. If you become a client, your project is governed by the agreement you sign with us, not by these terms. Nothing on this site is an offer or professional advice, and our chat and estimate tools give non-binding preliminary estimates only.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") are between you and WorkflowUnity LLC, a Washington limited liability company (UBI 606205738), 17404 Meridian E, Ste F-1074, Puyallup, WA 98375 ("WorkflowUnity," "we," "us"). They cover your use of:
- workflowunity.io, including its blog, tools, chat and estimate forms; and
- the public pages of app.workflowunity.io, such as our published Client Agreement and any page you can open without signing in
(together, the "Sites").
By using the Sites, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites. You must be at least 18 years old to submit information to us through the Sites. If you use the Sites for an organization, you confirm that you may act for it in doing so.
2. Client projects are governed by the signed Client Agreement
If you become a client, your project, plan, hosting, support and payment terms are governed only by the agreement you sign with us: the approved estimate or order, together with the WorkflowUnity Master Services Agreement or Terms of Service in the version you signed, and any signed change orders or addenda (together, the "Client Agreement").
- If these Terms conflict with a Client Agreement, the Client Agreement controls.
- These Terms do not add to, remove, or change any right or obligation in a Client Agreement.
- Signing, approval and payment pages in app.workflowunity.io are part of forming and performing a Client Agreement, and are governed by that agreement and the documents presented on those pages.
3. Nothing on the Sites is an offer; estimates bind only when signed
- Descriptions of services, packages, plans, price ranges, examples, timelines and case studies on the Sites are general information, not offers. We may change or withdraw them at any time.
- Any price or scope produced by our website tools or chat (including AI-generated estimates) is a non-binding preliminary estimate. It is not a quote, offer, or promise.
- No agreement exists until an estimate is signed electronically through our signing process. Until then, either of us may decline to proceed for any reason, and we may correct obvious errors in an estimate.
4. Information only, not professional advice
The Sites, including blog posts, guides, checklists, calculators, website audits, and examples, provide general information about software, websites, marketing and technology. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial, compliance, security, or other professional advice, and they are not tailored to your situation. Do not rely on them as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Information may be out of date. Any reference to laws or regulations (for example accessibility, privacy, tax, or grant rules) is for general awareness only.
5. Chat and other AI features
- Some chat and estimate features on the Sites are automated AI systems, not a person. Their answers can be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date.
- AI outputs are not advice and are not binding on WorkflowUnity, including any statement about price, scope, timelines, features, availability, or legal or technical matters. Only a signed Client Agreement binds us.
- Do not enter sensitive information (health information, passwords, financial account or government ID numbers) into the chat.
- Conversations are kept and processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You may not use the chat to generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, to try to extract system instructions or other users' information, or to overload it.
6. Our intellectual property
The Sites and their content (text, graphics, logos, designs, code, videos, and the "WorkflowUnity" name and marks) are owned by WorkflowUnity LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view, download and print pages for your own informational, non-commercial use, or to evaluate our services for your organization, if you keep all notices intact. Any other use, including copying, republishing, scraping, or creating derivative works, requires our written permission. Portfolio items may show work we created for clients; those clients may own rights in that work under their own agreements.
Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions about the Sites or our services, we may use them without obligation to you. This does not apply to confidential client information, which is governed by the Client Agreement.
7. Acceptable use
When using the Sites, you agree not to:
- break any law or infringe anyone's rights;
- submit false information, impersonate anyone, or submit someone else's contact details without permission;
- send spam, malware, or harmful code, or use our forms or chat to advertise;
- probe, scan, or test the security of the Sites, or bypass any security or access control, without our written permission;
- use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Sites in a way that burdens them or collects content or data in bulk, other than standard search engine indexing;
- use the Sites or their content to train or build a competing AI model or service; or
- interfere with the Sites or other users.
We may block access, remove content, or refuse service to anyone who violates these Terms, as allowed by law.
8. Links and third-party services
The Sites link to other websites, client sites in our portfolio, and third-party services (for example Stripe for payments, Google, and Microsoft). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's terms.
8A. WorkflowUnity Social and YouTube
WorkflowUnity Social uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel to WorkflowUnity Social, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you acknowledge that the Google Privacy Policy applies to Google's handling of your information. You can remove our access at any time on your connect page or at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Our handling of information from YouTube is described in Section 12 of our Privacy Policy. YouTube and Google control their own services. We do not control whether YouTube accepts, publishes, limits or removes a video, and we are not responsible for changes YouTube or Google make to their services or rules.
9. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITES AND ALL CONTENT, TOOLS AND AI OUTPUTS ON THEM ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not promise that the Sites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Results described on the Sites (such as traffic, leads, rankings, savings, or revenue) are examples and are not a guarantee of results for you.
This section does not change any warranty in a Client Agreement.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORKFLOWUNITY LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITES IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
- This section applies only to use of the Sites. Liability relating to client projects and services is governed solely by the Client Agreement.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
- Nothing in these Terms waives any right a consumer has under the Washington Consumer Protection Act or any other consumer protection law that cannot be waived by contract.
11. Indemnity
If you are using the Sites for a business or organization and you misuse them, by violating these Terms or the law, or by infringing anyone's rights through content you submit, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WorkflowUnity LLC and its members, employees and contractors from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from that misuse. This section does not apply to the extent prohibited by law, and for clients, indemnity is governed by the Client Agreement.
12. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Sites, or on a website or system we host for a client, infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- identification of the material you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (for example, the page address);
- your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Designated agent: Kyle Artzt, WorkflowUnity LLC, 17404 Meridian E, Ste F-1074, Puyallup, WA 98375; email: [email protected].
If we remove or disable material in response to a notice, we will take reasonable steps to notify the person who posted it, who may send a counter-notification. Where appropriate, we will terminate the accounts or services of repeat infringers. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may create liability for damages.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through the Sites. For websites and systems we build or host for clients, the client's privacy policy applies.
14. Electronic communications
When you use the Sites or email us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically and that electronic notices satisfy any requirement that they be in writing. You can stop marketing emails at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Sites must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pierce County, Washington, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction and venue. Nothing in this section limits a consumer's right to bring a claim in a forum the consumer is entitled to use under applicable law.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version with a new "Last updated" date. Changes apply to use of the Sites after they are posted and do not apply to any dispute that arose before the change. Changes to these Terms never change a signed Client Agreement; a Client Agreement can be changed only as it provides.
17. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms (with the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us about use of the Sites, except that a Client Agreement controls as stated in Section 2.
18. Separate organizations
WorkflowUnity LLC is a for-profit company and is separate from Mercy House Ministry, a nonprofit organization. Mercy House Ministry is not a party to these Terms or to any Client Agreement.
Statements on the Sites about WorkflowUnity’s giving to Mercy House Ministry describe WorkflowUnity’s own practice. They are not a promise, a term of any Client Agreement, or an offer to donate any part of a particular payment, and the amount can change at any time. Payments to WorkflowUnity are not donations and are not tax deductible.
