Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 16, 2026

The short version

We collect the information you share with us through the contact form, chat widget, and email — plus standard web analytics — so we can respond to your inquiries and improve the site. We do not sell your data. We use a small number of well-known third-party services (Google Analytics, Microsoft Advertising, our website host) to keep the site running and measure ad performance. You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing [email protected].

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how WorkflowUnity (“WorkflowUnity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit workflowunity.io or interact with us through our contact form, chat widget, or email.

WorkflowUnity is a custom software development service operated from Puyallup, Washington, USA. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. To reach us about anything in this document, email [email protected].

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us directly

When you submit our estimate form or use the chat widget on our site, you may provide:

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, we (and the third-party services listed in Section 4) automatically collect:

2.3 What we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect payment information, government-issued ID numbers, health information, or special-category personal data (race, religion, political views, sexual orientation, biometrics, etc.) from visitors to this site. If a project ultimately involves us processing such data on your behalf, that engagement is governed by a separate written agreement, not this policy.

3. How we use your information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

Lawful basis (for EEA / UK visitors). We process your information on the basis of (a) your consent, when you submit the form or chat; (b) our legitimate interest in running and improving our business; and (c) our legal obligations.

4. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do share limited information with the following categories of service providers, who process data on our behalf under their own privacy commitments:

We may also disclose information if required to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, to protect our rights or property, or to investigate fraud or abuse. If WorkflowUnity is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify affected users.

5. Cookies & tracking technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and measure performance:

You can disable cookies in your browser settings or use browser-level privacy controls (Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control) and most ad-blocker extensions to opt out of analytics and advertising cookies. Doing so will not stop you from using the site.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep the information you submit through the estimate form or chat widget for as long as we may reasonably need it to respond to your inquiry, fulfill a project, or maintain business records — typically up to 36 months after our last meaningful interaction with you. Aggregated and de-identified analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

You can ask us to delete your submission earlier by emailing [email protected] at any time.

7. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights with respect to the information we hold about you:

California residents (CCPA / CPRA): in addition to the rights above, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and disclose, the right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before honoring a request.

8. Security

We protect your information with industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards: HTTPS encryption in transit, restricted access to backend systems, regular software updates, and password-protected database access. No system is perfectly secure, however — if we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

9. Children’s privacy

Our site and services are directed at businesses and adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA / UK). If you believe we may have inadvertently collected information from a child, please email us and we will delete it.

10. International users

WorkflowUnity is based in the United States. If you access the site from outside the US, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the US, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the site or submitting information through our form or chat, you consent to that transfer.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or a prominent notice on the site. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

12. Contact us

Questions about this policy, requests to exercise your privacy rights, or anything else privacy-related — email [email protected]. We read every message.
